Refund Policy

1. Overview

At BuyNoveltyCards, we take pride in the quality of our novelty cards. Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, our refund policy differs from standard retail policies. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

2. Custom Orders Are Final

All novelty cards are made-to-order and personalised based on the information you provide. Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. This includes:

  • Personalised novelty cards with custom names, photos, or details
  • Any order that has entered the production queue
  • Orders where you have provided incorrect information

Please double-check all details before submitting your order, as we print exactly what you provide.

3. Cancellation Window

You may request to cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it, provided production has not yet started. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately with your order number.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed and are subject to production status at the time of your request.

4. When You May Be Eligible for a Refund or Replacement

We will offer a replacement or refund (at our discretion) in the following circumstances:

4.1 Defective or Damaged Items

If your novelty card arrives with a manufacturing defect or is damaged during production (e.g., printing errors on our part, physical damage, wrong card type), we will replace it free of charge or issue a refund.

4.2 Incorrect Order Fulfillment

If we send you the wrong item or your card does not match the details you submitted (due to our error), we will correct it at no additional cost.

4.3 Non-Delivery

If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe and tracking shows it was lost in transit, we may offer a replacement or refund after investigation.

5. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds and replacements are not available in the following situations:

  • Customer error: Incorrect spelling, wrong photo, or any other mistake in the information you provided
  • Change of mind: You no longer want the item after ordering
  • Customs seizure: Items seized, destroyed, or returned by customs or postal authorities
  • Incorrect address: Packages returned or lost due to an incorrect shipping address you provided
  • Unclaimed packages: Items returned to us because they were not collected
  • Delivery delays: Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control

6. How to Request a Refund or Replacement

To request a refund or replacement, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order (or within 30 days of the expected delivery date for non-delivery claims).

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos showing any defects or damage (if applicable)

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days.

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
